A Chapter Closed: Avi Siwa and Eric Allison Resolve the Gold Bar Dispute

A personal note on the resolution of the gold bar dispute, choosing peace, and moving forward with truth.

Some chapters of your life are difficult to write.

Some are even harder to close.

Today, I can finally say that the dispute surrounding the gold bar issue between Eric Allison and me has been resolved.

After discussions between us, Eric has agreed to drop the charges, and we have both agreed to move forward.

I have always maintained my innocence and stood by the truth of what happened. I am grateful that this chapter can finally come to an end.

But there is another side to this story that I believe is worth sharing.

Eric has Filipino children and has always had a genuine heart for the Philippines. His connection to the country is personal, and because of that, he understands the importance of family, resilience, and giving people an opportunity to move forward.

He also came to understand my situation differently.

I am a single mother building businesses, raising my children, and creating something new from the ground up. I am currently launching my biggest venture yet, and I have spent years rebuilding my life, my confidence, and my businesses.

Eric has chosen empathy over conflict.

He has chosen to drop the charges and, instead, support me as I move forward with the venture I am building.

For that, I am grateful.

Sometimes, Closure Doesn't Look Like Victory

Sometimes it looks like two people deciding that enough is enough.

It is choosing peace over another battle. Recognizing that people can make mistakes, misunderstand situations, and still choose to do the right thing afterward.

And sometimes, it looks like simply letting someone move forward.

I have learned a lot through this experience.

Most importantly, I have learned to stand on my truth and live without fear.

I know who I am. I know what I stand for. And I know the life I am building.

My focus now is my children, my businesses, and the future.

I am building HOOKED, a new kind of dating platform designed to bring people out of the endless swipe cycle and into real experiences and meaningful connections.

I don't want to carry anger into the next chapter of my life.

I want to carry wisdom, gratitude and the strength that came from surviving everything that was supposed to break me.

So today, we are closing this chapter.

Thank you, Eric, for choosing compassion, for letting go of the conflict, and for letting me fly forward.
